As Jantzen gears up to participate in the American Heart Association’s Red Dress show, October 15th in Miami, we want to share some helpful heart tips with you.
Did you know that heart disease is the No. 1 killer of women? Meaning us gals need be sure to exercise each day and make healthy choices! A perfect use for your Jantzen is swimming. If you can make the time to swim some laps each day, it will do your heart a lot of good: When you swim breast stroke or backstroke, you're burning around the same amount of calories as a fast walk or a slow jog.
Be sure to wear your Jantzen to the beach barbeque, but remember to eat baked, not fried. For example: Take an average potato, bake it, and you have 110 calories and 0 grams of fat. Take that same potato, turn it into french fries, and you have 380 calories and 18 grams of fat.
